The 2005-2006 Latin Dance team will be composed of 3-6 couples
(partners chosen by director after the team is formed).
No dance background is necessary.
Judging for auditions is based on attitude/enthusiasm, cooperation
with director and other students, and demonstrating the ability to
learn a short dance sequence.
Auditions for currently enrolled 7th and 8th graders are closed to
the public, and any student who wishes to audition must complete
and turn in ALL packet information by Friday, September 16th to be
considered for a position on the team.

Audition dress code:
Girls: Black, leather-soled, closed-toed shoes with a minimum of 3/4" heel,
black tights, EITHER a black leotard with black dance skirt of any style
no longer than knee length, OR a black leotard with black jazz pants, OR
a black unitard. Hair must be out of the face in a ponytail or bun on
the back of the head. No jewelry.
Boys: Black, leather-soled, closed-toed shoes, black UNADORNED (no buttons,
zippers, or patterns) round-neck shirt that is properly fitted to the upper
body (not excessively baggy), tucked in to khaki or dark-colored docker-
style pants. Long hair must be out of the face in a ponytail on the back
of the head. No jewelry.
